Lauren Reich Loeffler earned all-America honors at two different NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships, including a 27th-place showing in 2008 and a fourth-place finish in 2009, which remains DePauw’s highest finish. She earned Division III Indoor Track and Field All-America honors in 2010 in both the mile run (second) and 800 meters (fourth). Loeffler garnered Division III Outdoor Track and Field All-America accolades in three years and three different events. 2008 (1,500 meters/fifth place), 2009 (800 meters/seventh place; 1,500 meters/eighth place) and 2010 (5,000 meters/third place). She was the co-recipient of the 2010 Amy Hasbrook Award as DePauw’s Outstanding Senior Female Student-Athlete and was named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Woman of the Year. Loeffler still holds the SCAC Championship record in the 800 meters (2:14.51) and 1,500 meters (4:36.75) and won three SCAC outdoor titles each in the 800 and 1,500 meters and one in the 5,000. During her time, the Tigers won four SCAC cross country championships as she won two individual titles and finished second twice. The two-time SCAC women’s cross country runner of the year was selected to the conference’s 30th anniversary women’s cross country team in 2020 and the women’s track and field team in 2021.

Loeffler obtained U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Strength and Conditioning Coach Certification in addition to Good Form Running Certification, RRCA Level 1 Coaching Certification and USATF Level 1 Coaching Certification. She was a banding technician for the Institute for Bird Populations before serving as a sales associate for iRun Texas from 2010-2012 where she was also a running coach until 2016. Since 2016, Loeffler has been an assistant cross country and track and field coach at Trinity (Texas) University. She and her husband, Jonathan Loeffler, are parents to a son, Owen.
