Memories of action against Notre Dame’s famed “Four Horsemen” are part of Glenn Adams’ DePauw days when he was a winner of letters in football, track and basketball.  He captained the track team two years and held the state record in the broad (long jump) for eight years.  His first coaching job after college was at Wiley High School in Terre Haute then Brazil and later Martinsville, where he started football.  He went to Columbus High School in 1931 and retired there in 1968, coaching football for 16 years.  Honored by his community for his leadership in community and youth affairs, he remained active in sports, officiating at IHSA, Big 10 and NCAA tournament events.
