Jeremiah Marks is DePauw’s career record-holder for rushing yards (3,869), points (336), touchdowns (56) and rushing touchdowns (52) and is second in school history with 4,325 career all-purpose yards. The four-time first team all-Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference selection holds conference records for career points, touchdowns and rushing touchdowns. In 2005 he rushed for a school-record 16 touchdowns and the next season broke DePauw’s single-season rushing record with 1,117 yards. He rushed for a school-record five touchdowns in two games (at Sewanee Oct. 8, 2005 and Colorado College Oct. 20, 2007) and his 211 rushing yards in the Colorado College game were a DePauw single-game record. Marks also set the DePauw single-game rushing attempts record when he carried the ball 45 times in the 2007 Monon Bell Game and also caught seven passes for 97 yards. He still has four of the top nine rushing-yardage seasons in school history and three of the top seven scoring seasons. Marks is tied for first in school history with 17 touchdowns and 102 points in 2005. He earned Football Gazette honorable mention all-America in 2006 and was named to the SCAC’s 30th anniversary football team in 2021.

Marks obtained several certifications for strength and conditioning and has worked for the Orlando Magic, Indiana Pacers, Major League Baseball as well as with colleges, Olympic athletes and celebrities. He lived in China for seven years training their professional basketball teams. Upon returning to the United States, Marks started his own company, Marks Home Renovations. Marks is married to Maricris Marks.
