The Raymond "Gaumey" Neal Fieldhouse
The Raymond “Gaumey” Neal Fieldhouse is named in honor of the coach of DePauw’s undefeated, untied and unscored upon 1933 football team. The fieldhouse includes a 2,400-seat basketball and volleyball arena and three multipurpose courts which can accommodate various intercollegiate and intramural sporting activities as well as convocations and serves as a rain site for commencement ceremonies.
Neal Fieldhouse Policies:
- The courts are closed during team practices and all competitions.
- The courts can only be used by DePauw community members or those with Welch Fitness Center memberships. Contact the Athletic Department at 765-658-4012.
- To extend the life of the courts, please refrain from wearing outdoor shoes, rollerblading, or cycling. Appropriate footwear is required. Strollers, wheelchairs, and other support for the physically disabled are permitted.
- No pickleball is allowed.
- No gum, tobacco, or alcohol allowed.
- No animals, except service animals, may be in the facility.
- Spectators are not allowed in the 1st row during NCAA competition.
- Prior permission required to use or move equipment.
- DePauw Athletics does not ticket for regular season competition.
