Granville, Ohio - DePauw finished third at the North Coast Athletic Conference Championships, totaling 1,377.5 points (adding 282.5 points) and is third among the eight competing schools. Kenyon won with 1,944 points, followed by Denison (1,853).
Tigers tallied 1,312.5 points in the pool and 87 on the boards on day three. The Tigers advanced from a 6th place finish the previous year, adding 127.5 points from last year's total.
DePauw head coach Tracy Menzel and assistant coaches Alan Senn and Jennah Fadely were selected as the NCAC Women's Swimming Staff of the Year marking the third straight year the Tigers earned the distinction.
All-NCAC distinctions were awarded to Edie Patterson (3rd, 1650 Freestyle), Priscilla Smith (2nd, 100 IM), 200 Freestyle Relay, 400 Freestyle Relay, 200 Medley Relay, and 400 Medley Relay.
Tigers tallied four NCAA B-Cut times: Edie Patterson (1650 freestyle), 200 Freestyle Relay, 400 Freestyle Relay, and 200 Medley Relay.
Leading the way was Saturday's 1650-yard freestyle with Edie Patterson (17:07.66) leading the Tigers in 3rd place for 30 points. Tigers collected 81 points on the first event of the day.
Freshman Priscilla Smith claimed 2nd in the following event, the 100-yard individual medley, swimming a 58.52 and contributing 31 points to the 86 gained in the event.
Switching to backstroke, Cora Gilbert (2:03.35) and Olivia Motz (2:16.02) collected 42 points for the women.
Continuing with sprint events, Caroline Stowe claimed 6th in the 100-yard freestyle to collect 27 points, 94 points for the Tigers overall.
Courtney Marsh finished 9th in the 200-yard breaststroke to collect 24 points, Tigers claimed 46 in the event.
Moving on to the 200-yard butterfly, Emily Knott took 5th for 28 points, 53 to add to the team total.
Marina Spera tallied 25 points for the Tigers finishing 9th three-meter dive.
Finishing with the 400-yard freestyle relay, the Tigers A-team featured Caroline Stowe, Edie Patterson, Priscilla Smith, and Sophia Hulen to claim 3rd in 3:28.82, collecting 60 points. With this time they made the NCAA B-Cut by .27 of a second.
The Tigers will look towards the Kenyon College Fast Chance Invitational, starting Friday, February 20th in Gambier, Ohio.
