Greencastle, Ind. - The DePauw women's swimming and diving team delivered a standout weekend at the 2025 Gail Moll Pebworth Invitational, piecing together depth, speed, and consistency across three days of competition at Crawfordsville High School's Aquatic Center.

DePauw women's swimming and diving finished first with 1,973.5 points, trailed by Frankling College (1470 points), and Ohio Northern University (588). Anderson and Manchester were also in attendance at the meet.

The Tigers opened the meet with authority, capturing the 200-yard freestyle relay in 1:36.50 behind the quartet of Priscilla Smith, Anya Melson, Edie Patterson, and Caroline Stowe. DePauw's "B" and "C" relays also placed in the top five, giving the Tigers an early points surge and setting the tone for the weekend.

DePauw's dominance continued in the 500-yard freestyle, where the Tigers swept the top four spots. Patterson led the field with a commanding 5:03.59, followed closely by Hannah McNally (5:11.85), Jordan Laba (5:13.34), and Lydia Buechler (5:13.35). Senior Grace McKinney added a seventh-place finish, and sophomore Maddie Enenbach placed ninth.

Sprint freestyle proved to be another strength for DePauw. In the 50 free, freshman standout Priscilla Smith earned a runner-up finish in 23.92, with senior Caroline Stowe touching just behind in third at 23.99. The Tigers placed an impressive eight swimmers across the A and B finals, highlighted by top-eight finishes from Sophia Hulen and Anya Melson.

DePauw capped the meet with another relay crown, winning the 400-yard medley relay in 3:54.03. Melson, Smith, Knott, and Stowe combined to fend off a strong challenge from Franklin, while the Tigers' B and C relays added valuable points with top-five performances. DePauw now turns its focus toward the Denison Invitational, held across three days from December 4-6 in Granville, Ohio.
