Women's Swim & Dive Tops Cumberlands

Greencastle, Ind. - The DePauw women's swimming and diving team won 177.5-173.5 against University of the Cumberlands at Charles P. Erdmann Natatorium on Saturday. The Tigers moved to 3-0 for the season.

Cora Gilbert, Emily Knott, and Caroline Stowe each had a first-place finish, claiming nine points each for the Tigers' team score. DePauw recorded 44-points in relay races alone, while Marina Spera claimed six-points from the diving board. 

Edie Patterson showcased her improvement since the last meet by shaving off 14-seconds in the 500 yard freestyle and seven seconds in the 200 yard freestyle. Libby Ruff improved her time in the 200 yard freestyle to swim a sub two minutes time. 
 

The Tigers will host Centre on November 7th in the Charles P. Erdmann Natatorium at 6 p.m.
