Granville, Ohio- Sweeping the College of Wooster 5-0, the DePauw men's tennis team finished third in the North Coast Athletic Conference Championships. The Tigers finished the season at 13-9, while the Fighting Scots were 12-9.
The Tigers took control of their matchup against the Fighting Scots early, going up 3-0 in doubles play. At number three, Hudson Mosher and Chase Hutchinson defeated Shivam Dewan and Patrick Johnson 8-2, followed by Wyatt Metzger and Thomas Partridge beating Alon Liberman and Austin Hanna 8-3 at number one. At number two, Cole Metzger and Ryan McCook's 8-3 victory over Alexander Drewes and Nebyou Minassie would give DePauw a commanding 3-0 lead over the College of Wooster heading into singles play.
Needing just two matches to clinch third place, Wyatt Metzger tallied the Tigers' fourth win after beating Austin Hanna 6-2, 6-2 at number two. Clinching the victory for DePauw was Gordian Bruns, who defeated the Fighting Scots Nebyou Minassie 6-2, 6-2 at number four.
