Greencastle, Ind. - In the final tuneup before the North Coast Athletic Conference Tournament, DePauw capped a perfect weekend with a pair of wins. The Tigers blanked Hanover, 7-0, and topped Wooster by a 6-1 score.
DePauw improved to 15-9 overall and finished NCAC play at 5-3 and earned the number-four seed in the conference tournament. The Tigers open tournament play on Friday, April 24, at Denison with a 11 a.m. quarterfinal match against Wabash.
Against Hanover, the Tigers swept all three doubles matches and won all six singles contests in straight sets.
In the conference match against Wooster, DePauw again swept the three doubles matches and won second through sixth singles with the number-one singles match going three sets.
