Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw rising senior
Scott Anderson (Peoria, Ill./Peoria Notre Dame) has been named Third Team Academic All-America® as selected by CSC (College Sports Communicators) for NCAA Division III men's tennis. He is among 18 student-athletes named to one of three teams.
A physics major with a 4.0 cumulative grade point average, Anderson posted a 19-9 singles record this season including a 15-6 mark in dual matches at the number-two spot. He also was 19-10 in doubles play with a 12-5 dual-match record at third singles. Anderson earned third team all-North Coast Athletic Conference honors in singles for the second straight year.
He is among DePauw's 58 student-athletes to earn Academic All-America® honors since the program's inception in 1952. Including multiple-year winners, DePauw student-athletes have earned the distinction 77 times.
