Box Score Greencastle, Ind.- The DePauw men's lacrosse team moved to 0-3 on the season after losing 13-5 to the Elmhurst College Bluejays at home.
In the first half of play, the Tigers' held the Bluejays to four goals and gave up only two goals in the Bluejays' four man-up opportunities.
Henry White led DePauw in scoring, with two goals across the afternoon. Beckett Tasker, Chris Schaefer, and Connor Gibson would score the remaining three goals for the Tigers. Elmhurst's Ben Luke and Parker O'Leary scored early in the matchup, each tallying three goals, solidifying the Bluejays' lead midway through the game.
In goal, Patrick Lawton recorded 13 saves for DePauw, while Elmhurst's Noah Mickelson had 12 of his own.
The Tigers split the faceoffs with the Bluejays, winning ten apiece, with Elmhurst leading DePauw in ground balls, 25-22. DePauw finished the matchup with 27 turnovers to the Bluejays' 25.
DePauw travels to Transylvania on Wednesday, March 9, with a 7 pm start.
