Box Score Greencastle, Ind.- The DePauw University women's lacrosse team secured its first all-time win over The College of Wooster after defeating the Fighting Scots 16-5 at home, improving to 5-1 overall and 1-0 in North Coast Athletic Conference play.
Caleigh Claar and Emma Kennedy led the Tigers with three goals apiece, while Graesen Campbell, Bridget Driscoll, Maggie Little, Emily Napier, and Bria Randolph tallied two goals each. Randolph would lead DePauw in assists, recording five of the Tigers 10 for the afternoon.
On the defensive side of play, Emily Howard caused five turnovers and collected six ground balls across regulation.
In goal, Lydia Hollis recorded a career-high 13 saves for the day, improving to 5-1 for the season. CC Dent and Maeve Burke split today's game, with Dent recording three saves and Burke tallying six.
DePauw outshot Wooster 33-27 and was 20-30 in successful clear attempts. The Tigers committed 19 turnovers, while the Fighting Scots totaled 28.
DePauw's next game is in California, where the Tigers will take on Cal Lutheran on Monday, March 28 at 10 pm EDT.
