Box Score Delaware, Ohio- The DePauw men's lacrosse team lost to Ohio Wesleyan 22-2 in its first North Coast Athletic Conference matchup, moving to 1-6 overall.
Tallying the two goals for the Tigers was Henry White and Danny Karbowski, with Noah Curland recording DePauw's lone assist of the game.
DePauw split the faceoffs with Ohio Wesleyan, winning 14 of the 28 total faceoffs. The Tigers would finish the afternoon with five caused turnovers, while the Battling Bishops tallied eight caused turnovers and outshot DePauw 63-24.
In goal, Patrick Lawton finished the afternoon with 15 saves in the first half, and in the second half, Jack Gruchacz recorded seven saves of his own. The Battling Bishops MacGuire Scholl and George Whitney each finished the matchup with three saves each.
The Tigers' next game is Thursday, March 31, against Whittier at 7 pm PDT.
