Box Score Greencastle, Ind.- The DePauw men's lacrosse team came up short in its 7-5 loss to Trine University at home, moving to 1-5 for the season.
Beckett Tasker and Henry White led the Tigers with two goals apiece, while Jack Kneisley rounded out DePauw's scoring with a goal of his own.
 On the defensive end, Quinn Cashion caused six of the 14 caused turnovers throughout regulation, which jump-started the come-from-behind goals in the second and third quarters.
DePauw collected 27 ground balls to Trines 22, with four players tallying three ground balls each.
In goal, Patrick Lawton recorded eight saves for the day, while the Thunders' Nick DiPaolo stopped 15.
Despite coming up short, DePauw outshot Trine 40-30 and held the Thunder to just seven goals when all other opponents they've beaten have allowed double-digit scoring by Trine.
The Tigers travel to Ohio Wesleyan next Saturday, March 26 at 1 pm EDT, in its first North Coast Athletic Conference matchup of the season.
