Box Score Richmond, Ind. - DePauw's Jack Flynn scored six goals and led the Tigers to a 14-3 win at Earlham. The Tigers moved to 1-4, while the Quakers dropped to 2-3.
Flynn scored the game's first goal just 1:15 into the contest before Connor Gibson added two more in the quarter for a 3-0 lead. The Tigers scored three more in the second and held a 6-0 lead at the intermission.
The Quakers got on the board in the opening minute of the third, but DePauw scored the next five including four from Flynn to put the game away.
In addition to Flynn's six goals, Danny Karbowski, Gibson, Chris Schaefer and Henry White scored two apiece. Schaefer, and Karbowski each added two assists. Sam Sargent scored two of Earlham's three goals.
Jack Gruchacz totaled five saves for DePauw and Earlham's Emmitt Shaughnessy stopped 13 shots.
The Tigers won all 21 faceoffs including 19 by Matthew Roman. DePauw outshot Earlham, 64-14 and held a 57-16 edge in ground balls. The Tigers committed 17 turnovers to the Quakers' 29.
Roman totaled 10 ground balls and Schaefer forced four turnovers.
DePauw returns to action on Sunday, March 20, with a 2 p.m. home game against Trine.
