Gambier, Ohio- The DePauw men's tennis team opened its spring season with a 9-0 loss to the Kenyon College Lords, moving to 0-2 overall for the year.

In doubles play, the Lords Angelo Vladal and Eric Zhang beat Ryan McCook and Cole Metzger 8-6, followed by Kenyon's Luis Andres Platas and Thomas Kallarakal defeating Wyatt Metzger and Thomas Patridge, 8-4, on court one. Wrapping up doubles play was court two, where Kenyon's Christophe Leblanc and Rishi Kondapaneni beat DePauw's Billy Louiselle and Will Sultan 8-5.

Down 3-0 heading into singles matchups, the Tigers continued to face tough matchups. Court three finished first with the Lord's Thomas Kallarakal defeating DePauw's Gordian Bruns l 6-0, 6-2. Luis Andres beat Partridge 6-2, 6-0, followed by Rishi Kondapaneni defeating Wyatt Metzger 6-4, 6-2. Court four finished fourth, with Eric Zhang beating Cole Metzger 7-6 (8-6), 6-4. Kenyon's Jack Wagner beat Jake Watson 6-1, 6-0, and Henry Wessel closed out singles play after beating Grayson Zylstra 6-4, 6-3.
