Greencastle, Ind.- The DePauw men's tennis team earned its second win of the weekend after defeating the Centre College Colonels 6 to 3.

The Tigers swept doubles play, earning DePauw's first win of the afternoon was Cole Metzger and Ryan McCook, who beat the Colonels' Ashton Whitt and Faraz Ghamgosar 8-0 at number two. Wyatt Metzger and Thomas Partridge would extend the Tigers lead to two after defeating Bo Bush and Jasper Gazzo 8-3. Hudson Mosher and Chase Hutchinson beat Newcomb Madduz and Danny Nelson 8-6 to complete the doubles sweep at number three.

In singles play, DePauw continued to dominate. At number four, Gordian Bruns beat Matthew Bulow 6-1, 6-1 to take a 4-0 lead over the Colonels. DePauw would clinch the victory over Centre after Wyatt Metzger beat Bo Bush 6-1, 6-3 at number two.

The Colonels would claim a handful of victories throughout the afternoon. At number three, Jasper Gazzo defeated Cole Metzger 6-5, 6-1, followed by Centre's Emerson Dean beating Billy Louiselle 6-2, 7-5 at number six.

With just two matches left in the afternoon DePauw's Thomas Partridge held onto his lead to beat Centre's Faraz Ghamgosar 6-3, 7-5. Earning the Colonels' third win, Jett Anderson beat DePauw's Jake Watson in an 11-9 tiebreaker, after winning the first set 6-4 and dropping the second set 5-7 at number five.

The Tigers improve to 4-5 overall, while the Colonels move to 2-4. DePauw's next home matchup will be against Wittenberg on Sunday, March 13, at 4 pm EDT.
