Greencastle, Ind.- The DePauw men's tennis team swept the Ohio Wesleyan Battling Bishops 9-0 in its first NCAC West matchup, improving to 3-5 overall.

The Tigers dominated doubles play; Cole Metzger and Ryan McCook started the doubles sweep after beating Marcelo Aguilar and Grant Brooks 8-3 at number two. The Tigers' Hudson Mosher and Chase Hutchinson beat the Battling Bishops Tucker Strawser and Elliot Spicer 8-2 at number three to put DePauw up 2-0. Completing the sweep was Wyatt Metzger and Thomas Partridge, who beat José Mancilla and Alex Riess 8-0 at number one.

Gordian Bruns would win the first singles match after defeating Tucker Strawser 6-0, 6-0 at number four, followed by Jake Watson beating Grant Brooks 6-1, 6-0 at number five to clinch the DePauw victory.

In the remaining matches, Thomas Partridge would defeat José Mancilla 6-0, 6-0 at number one. Soon after, Cole Metzger would beat Marcelo Aguilar 6-2, 6-2 at number three. At number two, Wyatt Metzger defeated Alex Riess 6-0, 6-0, followed by Billy Louiselle beating Elliot Spicer 6-3, 6-4 at number six for the Tigers' final victory of the afternoon.

The Tigers are back in the ITT at 12 pm EST to play host to Centre College.
