Ada, Ohio - DePauw dropped to 0-2 on the season following a 10-1 loss at Ohio Northern as the Polar Bears moved to 2-0.

Ohio Northern scored the game's first eight goals before Connor Gibson ended the drought on an assist from Danny Karbowski with 10:04 left in the game.

John Lynn, Aidan Dempsey and Ben Gawronski each scored a pair of goals for the Polar Bears and Caleb Bennett assisted on two.

Patrick Lawton recorded seven saves for DePauw, while Cole Zaferakis had two for Ohio Northern and Matt Huizenga totaled five and Carson Smith one.

The Tigers won 7-of-13 faceoffs with the Polar Bears leading in ground balls, 28-26. DePauw committed 30 turnovers to Ohio Northern's 26.

DePauw returns to action on Sunday, March 6, with a 1 p.m. home game against Elmhurst.
