Greencastle, Ind.- The DePauw men's tennis team fell to NAIA sixth-ranked Indiana Wesleyan 9-0, moving to 2-5 overall, while the Wildcats remain undefeated at 25-0 for the year.

The Wildcats jumped to an early lead after Martin Carrizo and Leonardo Sprovieri opened the match defeating Wyatt Metzger and Thomas Partridge 8-4 at number one. Issac Steiner and Karl Wurth would help the Wildcats go up 2-0 after beating the Tigers' third doubles team of Hudson Mosher and Chase Hutchinson 8-4. Indiana Wesleyan completed its doubles sweep when Jeremias Rocco and Karl Wurth defeated Cole Metzger and Ryan McCook 8-3, at number two.

In singles play, the Wildcats' Josh Turnquest beat Billy Louiselle 6-0, 6-0 at number six to give Indiana Wesleyan a commanding 4-0 lead. Leonardo Sprovieri's 6-1, 6-1 victory over Cole Metzger at third singles clinched the Wildcats' win.

In the remaining matches, Isaac Steiner beat Jake Watson 6-2, 6-2 at fifth singles before Jeremias Rocco defeated Thomas Partridge 6-3, 6-0 at first singles and, at fourth singles, Karl Wurth beat Gordian Bruns 6-3, 6-2. Martin Carrizo and Wyatt Metzger battled at number two, however, Carrizo won 6-4, 7-6 (7-5) to earn the Wildcats' ninth point of the day.

The Tigers are back in at the Indoor Tennis and Track Center on Saturday, February 26 at 4 pm EST in its first North Coast Athletic Conference matchup against Ohio Wesleyan.
