Greencastle, Ind. After some tightly contested matches at home, the DePauw men's tennis team lost to Chicago 9-0, moving to 2-3 overall.

Chicago's Derek Hsieh and Christian Alshon beat DePauw's Billy Louiselle and Will Sultan 8-0 to open the morning's doubles matches at No. 2. The Maroons Arjun Asokumar and Andrei Leonov defeated Wyatt Metzger and Thomas Partridge 8-4 at No.1. The final doubles loss came after Bailey Forgus and Biren Alshon outlasted Gordian Bruns and Ryan McCook 8-7, after winning the tie-breaking set 7-5 at No. 3.

Up three matches to none, the Maroons continued its success in singles play. Christian Alshon earned Chicago's fourth win after defeating Gordian Bruns 6-0, 6-0. Derek Hsieh at No. 2 defeated Wyatt Metzger 6-4, 6-4 in a back and forth match-up to secure Maroon's victory. 

Chicago's final three wins were hard-fought, Arjun Aokumar defeated Thomas Partridge 7-5, 6-3, at No. 1; while Alex Guzha shut out Jake Watson 6-0, 6-0 at No. 4. Marek Michulka would complete the sweep of the Tigers after beating Ryan McCook 6-1, 6-4. 

DePauw returns to the ITT to face WashU on Saturday, February 19 at 10 am EST.
