Terre Haute, Ind.- The DePauw University men's tennis team swept Millikin University 9-0 and beat Hanover College 8-1, moving to 2-2 overall for the year.

The Tigers tallied three decisive wins in doubles play. Gordian Bruns and Ryan McCook shutout Millikins Cory Erikson and James Broach 8-0 at No. 3 to earn the Tigers' first victory of the day.

Billy Louiselle and Will Sultan pulled off an 8-4 victory against the Big Blues' Holden Owens and Clayton Maack at No. 2, while Wyatt Metzger and Thomas Patridge defeated Millikin's Cole Phillips and Theodor Wolf 8-3 at No.1 to wrap up doubles play. 

Grayson Zylstra of DePauw beat Cory Erickson 6-0, 6-0 to jumpstart the Tigers singles sweep in the No. 5 match. McCook defeated James Broach 6-1, 6-1 to clinch DePauw's victory at No. 6. 

The Tigers' other singles-match winners include W. Metzger, who took down Theodor Wolf 6-1, 6-0 in the No. 2 match, Bruns defeated Holden Owens 6-1, 6-2 at No. 3, and Jake Watson beat Millikin's Cole Phillips 6-0, 6-3 at No.4.

Completing DePauw's sweep over the Big Blue was Thomas Partridge, who defeated Clayton Maack 6-3, 6-4, in the closest match of the day in the No. 1 match.

The Tigers dropped just one of its matches against the Hanover College Panthers in its second set of matches. 

Jake Watson and Jacob Louiselle beat Hanover's Charley Williams and Pedro Macedo 8-0 in the No. 3 match. The Tigers would go up 2-0 after Hudson Mosher, and Chase Hutchinson took down Luke Kroeger and Gustavo Assumpato 8-1 at No. 2.

The Panthers would get on the board after Hanover's Jedrek Brodski and Joey Keal defeated Billy Louiselle and Will Sultan 8-6 at No. 1. 

Up 2-1 heading into singles play, Chase Hutchinson extended the Tigers lead over the Panthers after defeating Gabriel Palocci 6-1, 6-0 at No. 6. DePauw continued its singles matches with dominant wins by Jacob Louiselle, who beat Tyler Brunty 6-0, 6-1 at No. 4 and Brian Wolf, defeating Pedro Macedo 6-2, 61 at No. 5.

The Tigers' final three wins were earned by Grayson Zylstra, who defeated Joey Keal of Hanover 6-3, 6-1 in the No. 1 match. Hudson Mosher beat Charley Williams 6-4, 6-1 at No. 3, and Billy Louiselle pulled the final win over the Panther's Luke Kroeger, 6-3, 6-4 at No. 2. 

The Tigers are back in  Greencastle, Ind., on Sunday, February 13, to play host to Chicago at 9 am EST.
