Tigers Toppled in U Chicago Double Dual

Chicago, Ill.- The DePauw men's swim team fell to host #5 University of Chicago 243-47 and #14 Calvin University 219-75 in its final double dual meet before the North Coast Athletic Conference Championships.

The Tigers' Brock Kinnamon led DePauw with individual points, taking third in the 1000-yard free with a time of 10:21.35 and in the 500-yard free (4:54.67).

Braden Mallery and Seth Fagen were two more Tigers who finished with top-five times in the 500-yard free (4:58.86) and 200-yard backstroke (2:01.10), respectively.

Kinnamon, Robbie Sheffield, Mallery, and James Shorney would close out the afternoon's double dual with a fifth-place finish in the 400-yard free relay with a time of 3:16.75.

DePauw travels to Granville, Ohio, to compete in the NCAC Championships hosted by Denison University from Wednesday, February 9 to Saturday, February 12.
