Tigers Swim to Fourth Place for Day Two of NCAC Championships

Granville, Ohio - Through the second full day of competition at the North Coast Athletic Conference Championships, DePauw has totaled 350 points (adding 190 points) and is fourth among the nine competing schools. Denison leads with 708.5 points, followed by Kenyon (597.5), and John Carroll (360).

Leading the way was Thursday's 500-yard freestyle with Tyler Farkas leading the Tigers, finishing 10th (4:38.00) and contributing 22 points to the 55 gained in the event. 

Daniel Schwendinger claimed 11th in the following event, 200-yard individual medley, swimming a 1:52.89 and contributing 19 points to the 40 gained in the event. 

Heading into sprint events, Sam Wolfe swam a 21.25 in the 50-yard freestyle to claim 14 points for 16th place. Tigers tallied 39 points in the event.

Finishing with the 400-yard medley relay, the Tigers A-team featured Brady Hinshaw, Tyler, Schwendinger, and Wolfe to claim 5th in 3:24.60, collecting 56 points.

Tigers tallied 190 points in the pool on day two. 

The Championships continue through Saturday hosted by Denison University.
