Greencastle, Ind. - Three DePauw men's tennis student-athletes were among those named to the all-North Coast Athletic Conference Men's Tennis team in voting by the league's coaches.
Earning spots on the west division singles team were Gordian Bruns (Jr., Forst, Germany/Kurfürst-Friedrich Gymnasium), Bryce McClanahan (Sr., Glenview, Ill./Glenbrook South) and Thomas Partridge (So., North York, Ontario, Canada/Royal St. Georges College).
Bruns posted an 8-4 mark in singles including 5-0 during conference play while playing primarily at the number-four position and he finished the season on a seven-match win streak.
McClanahan, who earned honorable mention in 2018 and 2019, was 6-6 on the season with most of his play coming at the second singles slot. He posted a 5-1 record in conference matches.
Partridge recorded a 5-8 singles record while playing primarily at the number-one spot and was 4-1 in NCAC matches.
DePauw's number one doubles team of McClanahan and Partridge were also voted all-conference after finishing with a 9-7 overall record at the number-one spot including a 5-1 mark in conference matches. McClanahan had previously earned all-NCAC second team honors in doubles in 2018 and 2019.
The Tigers finished the season with a 9-7 record including 9-4 against NCAA Division III opponents and topped the NCAC West Division standings with a 6-0 record before falling to Denison in the NCAC title match last Friday.
