Box Score Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw equaled the single-game school record for goals on the way to a 28-7 North Coast Athletic Conference West Division win over visiting Wabash. The Tigers moved to 3-3 overall and 2-0 in NCAC West play, while the Little Giants dropped to 4-3 overall and 0-2 in conference.
The Tigers scored the game's first 10 goals including nine in the first period and took a 15-1 lead into the halftime. The lead reach as many as 23 at 25-2 early in the fourth.
Connor Gibson led the way with seven goals, while Will Roberts, Tyler McCoy and Dan McCauley each added five. Roberts added a school-record eight assists and tied his own school record with 13 points in the win. Chris Schaefer added five assists. Anthony Nguyen and Caulin Fitzgerald each scored three for the Little Giants.
Jack Kneisley had a record-setting day as well with DePauw records of 25 faceoff wins and 16 ground balls. DePauw's 20 assists were also a new mark.
Luke Ruiz-Funes recorded nine saves in goal for the Tigers, while Patrick Lawton had one and Sam Erickson four.
DePauw returns to action on April 10 with a 7 p.m. game at Indiana Tech.
