DePauw Beats Carthage 15-14 on the Road

Kenosha, Wis.: The DePauw University women's lacrosse team moves to 1-2 after beating Carthage College 15-14 on the road.

Carthage opened the game with two quick goals in the first three minutes of play. The Tigers, however, would quickly answer with five goals of their own from four different players.

DePauw would finish the first half up 8-5, going 5-for-6 in free position shots while tallying 20 ground balls to Carthage's 14. 

Despite letting Carthage back into the game in the second half, the Tigers put in seven more goals, keeping Carthage on the defensive.

DePauw finished with 33 shots on goal and had six different Tigers score in its win over Carthage.

Leading the team with five goals apiece were Grace Clarke and Emma Kennedy. Graesen Campbell recorded two goals of her own, while Bria Randolph, Tori Salanty, and Emily Napier tallied a goal each.

The Tigers' next game is set for Friday, March 19, at 7 pm EDT at Reavis Stadium against Transylvania.
