Indianapolis, Ind. - DePauw opened the season at Division I Butler and dropped a 7-0 decision to the host Bulldogs. Butler improved to 1-3.

The Bulldogs picked up the doubles point after the number two tandem of Drew Michael and Zach Trimpe defeated Gordian Bruns and Ryan McCook by a 6-0 score and the first doubles team of Alvaro Huete Vadillo and Borja Miralles topped Bryce McClanahan and Thomas Partridge, 6-1.

Butler swept the six singles matches in straight sets to wrap up the victory.

DePauw hosts Indiana Wesleyan on Friday, March 12, in a 7 p.m. match.
