Box Score Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw scored six straight first-half goals and pulled away from visiting Earlham on the way to a 15-5 win over the Quakers. The win marked the first for Tigers' head coach Anne Moelk.
Grace Clarke gave the Tigers a 1-0 lead 3:05 into the contest before Earlham evened the count just 30 seconds later. DePauw, however, scored the next six to take a 7-1 lead with 6:26 left in the half. After Earlham ended the run, Emma Kennedy and Kate Flynn scored in the final 1:28 to give DePauw a 9-2 halftime lead. The Tigers sealed the victory with three goals in the final 5:07.
Grace Clarke led the Tigers with five goals, while Tori Salanty added three and Flynn assisted on a pair. Claudette Roskamp scored all five of Earlham's goals.
Earlham won 18 of the 22 draws, but committed 43 turnovers to DePauw's 22, while the Tigers held a 41-7 advantage in shots.
Emily Howard paced DePauw with five ground balls and six caused turnovers. Roskamp totaled 11 draw controls while Serena Pisacano and Jordan Blackburne had five ground balls apiece and Blackburne caused four turnovers.
DePauw returns to action on Sunday, February 23, when it hosts St. Mary's (Ind.) at 1:30 p.m.
