DePauw Falls at Division II 12th-Ranked Indianapolis

Indianapolis, Ind. - DePauw opened the spring portion of its schedule at University of Indianapolis, the 12th-ranked Division II school, and the Greyhounds topped the Tigers by a 7-0 score.

Indianapolis picked up the doubles point by sweeping all three matches. The first team of Renato Lima and Dario Huber defeated Bryce McClanahan and Wyatt Metzger, 6-1, before the number-two tandem of Cristian Morales and Jason Gerweck came away with a 6-3 victory over Will Sultan and Billy Louiselle. Tom Zeuch and Dominik Koenig completed the sweep with a 6-2 win over Noah Roberts and Thomas Partridge.

Koenig defeated Jake Watson (DPUM) 6-0, 6-1 at fifth singles before Jason Gerweck topped Sultan at sixth singles by a 6-2, 6-0 score. Lima clinched the win with a 6-3, 6-1 win over McClanahan at second singles.

Zeuch was a 6-4, 6-2 victor over Partridge at third singles with Huber won at first singles by a 7-5, 6-1 count and Morales defeated Roberts at the fourth slot 6-1, 6-4.

DePauw returns to action on Thursday, Feb. 6, when it faces fourth-ranked Chicago at Matchpoint Tennis and Fitness Club in Griffth, Ind., at 7:30 p.m. CST.
