Tigers Finish Season with Loss at Wooster

Wooster, Ohio - After DePauw scored in the opening two minutes of its North Coast Athletic Conference game at Wooster, but the Fighting Scots scored the next 11 on the way to a 20-6 victory over the Tigers. DePauw finished its season at 5-11 overall and 2-6 in NCAC play, while Wooster is now 15-1 overall and 7-1 in conference play.

Grace Clarke led the Tigers with two goals and Caleigh Ranjo two assists, while Laura Papp paced Wooster with five scores and four assists.

DePauw's Kathryn Hopkins recorded seven saves in goal, while Katie Shideler had two for the Fighting Scots.

Wooster held a 32-11 edge in shots and 19-11 in ground balls, while leading in draw controls, 21-7.

Clarke paced the Tigers with four draw controls, while Emily Howard and Sarah Congress each caused two turnovers. Howard, Sarah Biely and Hopkins had two ground balls apiece.

Emma Kennedy finished her first collegiate season with 39 goals to tie the DePauw single-season mark held by Emma Flynn in 2015. Clarke wrapped up the season with 50 points to tie the school mark held by Elizabeth McCracken in 2013.
