Alma, Mich. - DePauw scored the game's first three goals and never trailed on the way to a 13-8 win at Alma. The Tigers moved to 2-5, while the Scots dropped to 4-6.

Jack Richey gave the Tigers the lead for good just 49 seconds into the contest on Tyler McCoy's assist. McCoy and Quinn Roddy followed with scores and DePauw held a 3-1 advantage after the first period. 

The Tigers outscored Alma 4-2 in the second to extend the halftime lead to 7-3 and the Scots closed to within two, 9-7, after scoring the final three goals of the third. Roddy scored in the opening five minutes of the fourth before Patrick Durnien secured the win with two straight goals.

Roddy scored five to lead the Tigers, while Richey and Durnien had two apiece. Connor Alley, Timothy Gearig and Chase Hunyadi each scored two for Alma.

Charlie Robson recorded 11 saves for DePauw with Cameron Stelljes totaling 16 for the Scots.

DePauw outshot Alma, 47-42, and had 17 turnovers to the Scots' 24. The Tigers won 18 of 25 faceoffs and led in ground balls, 31-27.

The Tigers travel to Marymount for a 7 p.m. game on Wednesday, March 27.
