Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw opened the spring portion of its schedule with an 8-1 loss to third-ranked University of Chicago in a match played on the DePauw indoor courts. The Maroons improved to 4-0 with the victory.

The Tigers' point came at third singles where Wyatt Metzger topped Shramay Dhawan by a 6-3, 6-4 score.

DePauw hosts Butler at 6 p.m. tomorrow night.
