Win Streak Snapped for DePauw

DePauw tried for its third consecutive win on Saturday but ran into No. 23 Sewanee who took a 5-1 win.

DePauw's lone win came at No. 2 doubles where Matthew Quammen and Alex Bertolini won 8-6. At No. 1 doubles Greg Frauenheim and Bryce McClanahan fell by the same score 8-6, and at No. 3 doubles Alex Pintilie and Sean Carroll fell 8-3.

To conclude the match, DePauw lost at No. 2, No. 3 and No. 4 singles. McClanahan fell 6-2, 6-0, Pintilie lost 7-5, 6-4, and Quammen fell 6-2, 6-1, respectively.

Sewanee, who improves to 12-4 overall,  led in the other three singles matches before claiming the win.

DePauw falls to 3-10 on the year and will face Wisconsin-Whitewater in South Carolina on Wednesday.
