Gambier, Ohio -- The DePauw men's tennis team opened the North Coast Athletic Conference Tournament with a 5-0 win over Wittenberg in the quarterfinals on Friday.
At No. 1 doubles John Daseke and Patrick Farrell defeated Timmy McNulty and Luke Minard 8-5. At No. 2 doubles Harold Martin and Nate Wallace won 8-1, and at No. 3 doubles Dan Rodefeld and Matt Santen won 8-0.
In singles play, Farrell won at No. 3 singles 6-4, 6-3, and Wallace won at No. 6 singles 6-0, 6-0. The rest of the matches were left unfinished.
Both teams now sit at 9-9 on the season. The Tigers will play in the semifinals at noon Saturday.
