Wooster, Ohio - DePauw scored three goals in the game's first two minutes, but Wooster scored nine of the next 10 to take the lead for good on the way to a 22-8 North Coast Athletic Conference win over the Tigers.

DePauw dropped to 6-5 overall and 2-4 in the NCAC, while Wooster improved to 10-4 overall and 3-3 in the conference.

Emma Flynn, Nicole Gibson and Taylor Summers each scored to give DePauw a 3-0 lead just 1:58 into the contest, but Wooster scored four straight. The Tigers answered to tie the game at 4-4, but the hosts scored the next five to take the lead for good.

Emilye Denny and Summers each scored a pair, while Summers and Rachel Allen assisted on two each. DePauw goalie Lis Hawkins stopped 13 Wooster shots.

Heather Szymanksi led the Fighting Scots with seven goals and Laura Papp added five. Jordan Stone paced the team with three assists and Emma Hambright recorded three saves.

Wooster outshot DePauw, 41-13, held a 25-14 edge in ground balls and led in draw controls, 18-13. The Tigers committed 29 turnovers to Wooster's 18 and DePauw was successful on just 14-of-25 clears compared to Wooster's 16-of-19.

Hawkins paced DePauw with four ground balls, while Stefanie Buffa and Madi Lozanoski each had three draw controls. Denny caused three turnovers.

Papp led Wooster with five ground balls with  Megan Healy totaling five draw controls and three caused turnovers.

DePauw hosts Ohio Wesleyan on Wednesday, April 26, at 7 p.m.
