Oberlin, Ohio - DePauw was outshot by host Oberlin, 54-28, but the Tigers scored on 16 of their 21 shots on goal on the way to a 16-11 North Coast Athletic Conference win at Oberlin.

The Tigers finished their season at 8-6 overall and 3-5 in the NCAC, while the Yeomen wrapped up at 6-9 overall and 2-6 in conference play. It also marked the first winning season in DePauw's five-year history.

Ben Sherman scored the game's first goal just 2:05 into the contest before Oberlin countered 35 seconds later. The Tigers took the lead for good just 13 seconds later and scored three times in a 2:03 stretch for a 4-1 lead.

DePauw held a 7-2 lead after one quarter and 10-4 at halftime before grabbing its laregest advantage at 14-6.

Sherman led the Tigers with five goals and added an assist, while Steen Jorgensen followed with three goals. Austin MacDonald assisted on a team-high three goals. DePauw goalie Charlie Robson turned away 16 Oberlin shots.

Eric Hager paced Oberlin with five goals and Reese Koburov added two. Calvin Filson recorded five saves for the Yeomen.

Oberlin won 24 of the 31 faceoffs and held a 38-19 advantage in ground balls. Seven different DePauw players had two ground balls each, while Kinori Rosnow led Oberlin with 15. 

DePauw had 16 turnovers to Oberlin's 19 and Donny Bleifuss led the Tigers with four caused turnovers. Oberlin's Erik Zeug also caused four turnovers.
