River Forest, Ill. - DePauw scored just 12 seconds into its game at Concordia Chicago and was never threatened in a 23-3 victory over the Cougars. The Tigers moved to 4-3 on the season, while Concordia dropped to 0-6.

The Tigers held a 9-1 lead after the first quarter and 19-1 at halftime.

William Dorger paced the Tigers with four goals, while Austin MacDonald and Lewis Andrews each added three. Dorger, Adam Bridges and Jack Richey each totaled two assists.

Joe Garvey won 16 of 22 faceoffs and scooped up 11 ground balls, while Alex Randall added eight ground balls.

Brett Krueger paced the Cougars with two goals and shared the team lead with Corey Sheehan as each had five ground balls.

Kemper Ackermann paced DePauw in goal with three saves, while Connor Patterson and Charlie Robson each had two. Alex Pankey totaled 16 stops for the Cougars.

DePauw outshot Concordia, 55-16 and held a 38-14 edge in ground balls. The Tigers also won 21 of the 30 faceoffs and committed just 10 turnovers to Concordia's 20.

The Tigers host Hope on Saturday, April 1, at 1 p.m.
