Greencastle, Ind. – The DePauw men's tennis team took a clean 9-0 sweep over Centre on Friday for their first win of the spring and to improve to 2-3 overall.

The men got off to a fast start with 8-1 wins at No. 1 doubles (Rodefeld/Farrell) and No. 3 doubles (Wallace/Martin). Matt Santen and John Daseke followed with an 8-5 win at the No. 2 flight.

DePauw won five of its six singles matches in straight sets.

At No. 1 singles, Dan Rodefeld won 6-3, 6-1. At No. 2 singles, Patrick Farrell took a 6-4, 6-1 win, and Matt Santen took a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 3 singles.

Greg Frauenheim fought back from a 0-6 first set to win 0-6, 6-1, 10-7. Petar Barcot won 6-2, 6-2 at No. 5 and Nate Wallace went 6-1, 6-4 at No. 6.

DePauw hosts Wooster on Saturday.
