Martin and Wallace Nab Lone Win in 8-1 Loss to DII Indianapolis

Indianapolis, Ind. – Division II No. 31 ranked Indianapolis defeated the DePauw men's tennis team 8-1 on Tuesday.

DePauw's only win came at No. 3 doubles where Harold Martin and Nate Wallace picked up an 8-2 victory. The other two doubles matches were just as competitive.

At No. 1 doubles Patrick Farrell and Dan Rodefeld lost 8-6, and at No. 2 doubles Matt Santen and John Daseke fell 9-8.

All six singles matches ended in straight sets. Rodefeld lost at No. 1 6-3, 6-1; Farrell fell 6-1, 6-0 at No. 2; and Santen lost 6-4, 6-1 at No. 3.

At No. 4 singles Greg Frauenheim lost 6-3, 6-4. At No. 5 Petar Barcot lost 6-3, 6-4, and at No. 6 Matthew Quammen lost 6-1, 6-2.

DePauw is now 1-3 overall and hosts Centre on Friday.
