Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw jumped out to a 2-0 lead, but Baldwin Wallace outscored the Tigers 8-1 over the final 23 minutes of the first half and never trailed the rest of the way in a 17-11 win.

DePauw dropped to 1-4 overall, while the Yellow Jackets improved to 2-3.

Emilye Denny and Elizabeth McCracken gave the Tigers the early lead in the opening seven minutes, but the Yellow Jackets countered with a pair in a 57-second stretch. Emma Flynn's goal gave the Tigers a 3-2 lead before Baldwin Wallace scored the next five for an 8-3 halftime lead.

The Tigers closed to within four goals on a pair of occasions, but Baldwin Wallace scored four straight to grab a 15-7 advantage with 11:56 remaining.

Maryclaire Heldring, McCracken and Denny each had two goals for the Tigers, while Nicole Gibson assisted on two.

Hannah Albrechta and Kayla Miller had four apiece for Baldwin Wallace, while Maddie Russell added three. Albrechta and Katie Kocher each had three assists.

Liz Hawkins had one save in the first half for the Tigers with Taylor Giordanegno totaling five for the Yellow Jackets.

Baldwin Wallace had 24 shots to DePauw's 23 with Baldwin Wallace leading 19-18 in ground balls. Megan Patrick had four ground balls for the Yellow Jackets with Denny, Heldring and Annie Barrett each finishing with three for the Tigers.

The Yellow Jackets held an 18-12 edge in draw controls and each team had 22 turnovers.
DePauw returns to action on March 21 at Redlands in a 7 p.m. PDT contest.
