Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw, ranked 33rd in Division III, opened the spring portion of the season by hosting University of Indianapolis, the 22nd-ranked team in Division II. The Tigers moved to 1-1 overall on the year after dropping a 9-0 match to the now 3-1 Greyhounds.

Arklon Huertas del Pino and Andrea Morlet topped Alec Kaczkowski and Dan Rodefeld 9-8 (6) at first doubles, while Magnus Mueller and Chistoph Drechsler were 8-0 victors over Patrick Farrell and John Daseke at the second spot. Luke Hubert and Marco Razo topped Harold Martin and Nate Wallace at third doubles, 8-3.

In singles play, Huertas Del Pino was a 6-1, 6-3 winner over Rodefeld at first singles with Drechsler topping Farrell at second singles 6-2, 6-4.

At third singles Hubert defeated Kaczkowski 6-4, 6-4 while Mueller beat Matt Santen 6-3, 7-5 at four. Razo defeated Greg Frauenheim 6-0, 7-5 at fifth singles and 6-0, 7-5 with Morlet topping Martin at sixth singles 6-0, 3-6, 6-1.

DePauw faces Centre at 8:30 a.m. tomorrow and Wooster at 3:30 p.m. with both matches scheduled for the Blackstock Courts.
