Box Score Granville, Ohio - Denison scored the game's first seven goals as it held DePauw scoreless for the first 22 minutes on the way to a 15-4 North Coast Athletic Conference win over the Tigers.
DePauw dropped to 6-9 overall and 2-5 in the NCAC, while the Big Red improved to 8-6 overall and 5-2 in conference play.
Kelsey Wright and Claire Ludlow each scored twice with Reid Hirschey, Claudia Rafi and Carol Allen adding single goals to give the hosts a 7-0 lead with 9:10 left in the first half.
DePauw's Taylor Summers put the Tigers on the board with 8:06 left and Denison added a late score to take an 8-1 lead into the intermission.
Denison scored the first five goals of the second half to expand the margin to 13-1. Emma Flynn, Elizabeth McCracken and Nicole Gibson scored for the Tigers over the final 18 minutes.
Powell, Allan and Wright each had three goals for Denison with Powell assisting on three.
Liz Hawkins totaled 13 saves for the Tigers, while Becca Jones finished with four for Denison.
Denison held a 34-13 edge in shots and a 30-14 advantage in ground balls. The Big Red won 12 of the 21 draw controls and committed 16 turnovers to DePauw's 26.
DePauw wraps up the season on Saturday, April 25, with an 11 a.m. NCAC contest at Allegheny.
