Box Score Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw held a 5-4 lead at Oberlin in the third period, but the Yeomen outscored the Tigers 5-1 over the final 21 minutes for a 9-6 North Coast Athletic Conference win.
The Tigers finished the season at 6-9 overall and 2-6 in the NCAC, while the Yeomen wrapped up the campaign at 8-7 overall and 4-4 in the conference.
Nick Woerner put the Tigers ahead in the opening minute with an assist from Andrew Wright and then added a second score with 6:38 left in the period for a 2-0 lead. Oberlin scored the next four to grab a 4-2 halftime advantage.
Jack Roberts, Ben Sherman and Sam Alkema each scored in the opening nine minutes of the third period to put the Tigers ahead 5-4, but Oberlin scored twice to close out the third and never trailed again.
Alkema and Woerner each scored a pair for the Tigers, while Andrew Wright assisted on three of the six scores. Matthew Fox scored three for the Yeomen, while Eric Hager added two.
Joe Musto recorded seven saves for the Tigers, while Erickson Andrews had 14 for Oberlin.
Oberlin outshot DePauw 37-27 and held a 27-21 ground balls advantage. The Tigers had 15 turnovers to Oberlin's 16.
The Tigers finished their third season of play with a school-record six wins.
