Box Score Hiram, Ohio - DePauw scored 18 first-half goals and the Tigers dominated throughout on the way to a 28-2 North Coast Athletic Conference win at Hiram.
The Tigers improved to 6-7 overall and 2-4 in the NCAC, while Hiram dropped to 3-8 overall and 1-5 in conference play. The 28 goals broke the previous DePauw single-game record of 22.
Andrew Wright paced DePauw with a school-record seven scores, while Nick Woerner, Eric Speer and Kyle Roberts each added three. In all, 13 different players scored. Ben Sherman assisted on five of the scores, while Woerner and Wright had three apiece.
Greg Summers and Doug Legris each scored one for the Terriers.
Joe Musto recorded three saves for DePauw, while Zach Taylor totaled four. Hiram's Sawyer Lott and Keagan Finegan each had four saves.
DePauw held a 51-18 advantage in shots as well as a 58-35 lead in ground balls. The Tigers committed just 12 turnovers to Hiram's 23. DePauw also won 22 of the 34 faceoffs.
DePauw hosts Ohio Wesleyan on Wednesday, April 15, at 5 p.m.
