Sewanee grabbed an early 2-1 lead before DePauw scored six straight goals to take a 7-2 advantage. The hosts climbed back by scoring four of the final six goals of the half to trim DePauw's lead to 9-6 at the intermission.
DePauw still held an 11-8 advantage after Elizabeth McCracklen scored with 25:00 remaining. Sewanee came right back with four goals in a 1:30 stretch to grab a 12-11 lead. Emma Flynn scored at the 19:22 mark to even the score at 12-12, but Sewanee scored four straight and took control.
Carey Kunz and Flynn each had three goals, while Taylor Summers added two. McCracken and Nicole Gibson each added two assists, while Abigail Snively led with six ground balls.
