Richmond, Va. - DePauw swept through doubles play and picked up wins at second and sixth singles to take a 5-4 victory over North Carolina Wesleyan. The 25th-ranked Tigers improved to 6-7, while the Battling Bishops dropped to 6-4.
Alex Kaczkowski and Eric Vannatta topped Robert Kjellberg and Sebastian Sikh by a 9-7 score at first doubles, while Chris Bertolini and Dan Rodefeld were 8-5 victors over Fernando Nardelli and Eduardo Ugalde at second doubles. The Tigers completed the sweep as Patrick Ferrell and Harold Martin defeated Fabio Pereira and Andres Gomez by a 9-8 (7-3) count.
Matt Santen picked up a 6-2, 6-3 sixth singles win over Ugalde and Kaczkowski beat Sikh at second singles 6-4, 6-7 (4-7), 6-3.
The Tigers travel to Washington and Lee tomorrow at 3 p.m.
