Hilton Head Island, S.C. - DePauw picked up its second win of the break and improved to 8-3 on the season following an 8-1 win over Oberlin. The Yeomen dropped to 8-3.
The Tigers took a 2-1 lead after doubles as Sam Mile and Ben Kopecky defeated Soren Zeliger and Ian Paik at the number-one spot, 8-4, and the third doubles duo of Patrick Farrell and Harold Martin blanked Charlie Marks and Jeremy Lichtmacher, 8-0. Miles and Kopecky improved to 12-2 with their win.
DePauw then swept the six singles matches as Miles topped Callan Louis at number one by a 6-2, 6-0 count and Kopecky defeated Paik 6-3, 6-3 at number two.
Farrell was a 6-3, 7-5 winner at third singles over Marks, while Alec Kaczkowski needed three sets to win his number-four singles match against Zeliger 6-3, 3-6, 1-0 (10-7). Chris Bertolini triumphed over Abraham Davis 6-1, 6-0 and Matt Santen was a 7-5, 6-1 victor over Paul Farah.
DePauw faces Wisconsin-Whitewater and Colby tomorrow.
