Elsah, Ill. - In the opening match of the spring season, DePauw's men dropped an 8-1 decision to fourth-ranked Washington University.

Ben Kopecky and Sam Miles pulled off a huge 8-6 win at first singles against the third-ranked tandem of  Ross Putterman and Jeremy Bush. Eric Vannatta and Alex Kaczkowski lost in a tiebreaker at second doubles while Nick Thompson and Patrick Ferrell dropped an 8-6 decision at the third spot.

DePauw lost all six singles matches with only Kaczkowski taking his opponent to a third set.

The Tigers return to action on Thursday, February 20, when they host Olivet Nazarene at 4:30 p.m.
