St. Louis, Mo. - DePauw totaled 358 points on the opening night of the Washington University Invitational and is in third place among the six-team field. Washington leads with 528 points and Lindenwood is second with 391.
The Tigers' 200-yard medley relay of Annie Graves, Allison Kirby, Angela Newlon and Caroline Bridges was third in 1:53.91, while the 800 freestyle relay of Newlon, Emily Weber, Bridges and Kirsten Olson won in 7:48.63 and broke the pool record.
Newlon took first in the 500 freestyle in a pool-record 5:00.91 and was second in the 200 butterfly in 2:11.92, while Bridges won the 100 free in 53.66 seconds.
Dana Zerbini finished fourth in the 100 breaststroke in 1:11.36 and Kirby was fifth in 1:12.21. Olson was second in the 200 back in 2:10.62 with Annie Graves placing fourth in 2:12.33. Weber was sixth in the 500 free in 5:14.91.
